HTV Magazine students traveling to California for …… had the opportunity to catch up with some HTV Alumni members now living in the Los Angeles area.
Baron had to leave, but we got this shot of the alums and Coach D. Notice Dustin and Rebekah cutting up…those mid-2000 kids. What are you gonna do?
Old staff-mates swapping phone numbers. Bekah is a nutritionist in Malibu and Dustin is a busy free-lance Director of Photography.
Grant is apparently Lillian’s driver whenever he is not working on his screenplay. Lilian is an actor already complaining about her agent, which is fun.
Tyler (actor), Charles (musician) and Ben (editor) are all industry guys. — with Tyler Vickers, Charles McDonald and Ben Bumgarner.
Bridging the gap….Katelyn Johannsen is on the current HTV staff, and she posed with Matt Wittmer, who was on the first staff, along with Katelyn’s parents, Shane and Stacy Johnannsen.
Pre-dinner fun. Great memories all evening, and lots of catching up. Baron told the story of how Matt’s English II “Lord of the Flies” video inspired Baron and his classmates five years later.
Favorite thing for Coach D was seeing Matt’s old camcorder, used in 1989-90 to shoot the famous Batman parody, among other things, and the trophy won at the very first HTV banquet for “Best Humorous Feature.”
